A doc fix in the deal? – ctd.

Austin notes that there are rumors of a permanent doc fix in the deal to avoid the fiscal cliff.

If that’s the case, then I may owe the AMA an apology. I’ve asserted – many times – that the doc fix is deficit increasing, and that it was tone deaf to try and make it a part of deficit reduction. The math is still on my side, but I guess they may understand the politics better than I do.
