Tomorrow, the Supreme Court will hear the legal arguments for and against the constitutionality of the individual mandate. Embedded in them will be economic arguments. In a post at the JAMA Forum, I make the economic case for the mandate, supporting it with results from recent studies.
I was not able to include some charts that illustrate the results I describe. However, they’re all posted here at TIE. They’re worth looking at.
