  • More on CHRT’s ACA chart

      12/20/2011
      Don Taylor

Marianne Udow-Phillips says something rare for the blogosphere:

OK, I admit it: we made a mistake.

She was referring to the Center for Health Care Research and Transformation’s chart of how people will get insurance under the ACA that I recently wrote about (asking whether it was simple or complex?).  Austin commented that it unreasonably simplified Medicare, and I provided a personal story that described the complexity of Medicare. My exchange with Austin focused on one box of the chart “Medicare”, but CHRT has made some changes to the Affordable Care Act aspect of the chart that now provides greater detail, and which corrected some errors in the original.

I didn’t reproduce it because of size. The old chart had 6 employer based boxes, the new one has 12, for example.
