… in snow that is. The fifth major storm of the season is upon us, bringing all the customary inconveniences: bad commutes, hours of shoveling, and–most significantly–school closings. In this region, I have never seen this much snow. (I was quite young during the big storm of 1978 and living in New Jersey at the time. So my memory of it is poor and it may not have been as large a storm as was experienced in the Boston area.)
Here’s a view of my garage from my back door. For scale, the top of the fence furthest the the left (that is barely visible) is about 5.5 feet high.

Dr. Carroll –
I’m a transplanted Hoosier living in Phoenix. Can’t say I miss days like you’re having right now. In any case, thanks for all the work you do. I listen to you on Stand Up every week and your ability to put complex policy conepts in layman’s terms is much appreciated!
Hope you’re able to dig out soon…

@Chandler – On behalf of Aaron, whom you lauded, I thank you. He’s in an icebox in Indiana right now. I’m under five feet of snow in Boston. 🙂
