My biggest complaint about blogging is the time it takes to transfer ideas to words.
That’s not a dissatisfaction with the time I devote to blogging. (That’s all pure joy.) It’s a lament about the volume of thoughts I’d like to put into words relative to the time I can devote to doing so.
On the other hand, the barrier is good for readers. It enforces some kind of quality threshold. In general, the better ideas make it into posts, and the poorer ones rattle around my brain or are forgotten. This post is proof by exception.
