Sarah Kliff has a post up at WaPo that shows what happens if a state opts out of the Medicaid expansion. Here it is:
But here’s the thing. That is a graphic which describes what happens to parents. Everyone forgets that lots of adults don’t have kids. And in most states, it doesn’t matter how little they make, even if they make nothing, they can’t get traditional Medicaid at all. I wish the graphics department at WaPo would make a chart showing what happens to them if a state opts out of the Medicaid expansion.
