    Seriously, if this slide show doesn’t make you fear for the “permanence” of American prominence, then I don’t know what will:

    Take 3 minutes and look through the photos.  Then think about the fact that this is a city in America that was not subject to a natural disaster.

    Then think about how much time the media spent on stupid things last year.  Let’s try and make this year better.
