Reforming the WHO

After an 18 month review, a new report from my colleagues at Chatham House is now online. The WHO has regional offices with independent budgets, a growing list of global health targets, and is often in tension with global commercial interests (tobacco, drug prices, processed foods). The most interesting quote:

 In 2013, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation became WHO’s biggest funder, bigger than any of its member states.
