• Facebook, The Evil Empire?

If you follow my News & Links feed you’ll have noticed an anti-Facebook meme. I won’t repeat all the evil, privacy-violating things Facebook does (below are some links, see for yourself). I’ll just add that I’m in agreement with those who think Facebook is not a good steward of personal information. I’ve been keeping much of mine off Facebook since I started using it. I use it only as another way for folks to access this blog and to find a few old friends. When I do find old friends, we switch our communication over to e-mail at my request. Facebook is not to be trusted.

    • the evil facebook. i also avoid logging on like the plague. To keep me away i made the updates on my wall appear on my yahoo account so that i can see what people are saying without actually going to the site. It is easier to control the impulse to log on if the update is worthless

    • I think ur in order. I went as far as deactivating 2 of my accounts. Man it just takes 2 much of my time…precious time. I can be making Mark rich when I don’t have any cut in it. True!
