There was a recent NY court case upholding the right of government to prevent unvaccinated children from attending school to prevent or manage disease outbreaks. I used the opportunity over at CNN.com to discuss herd immunity and why we don’t just vaccinate to protect ourselves; we do it to protect others, too.
