NB: (1) I don’t think Steve Ballmer has any particular moral duties to Haiti, above and beyond any other person with billions of dollars; (2) Giving Haiti a clean and reliable water supply would do more than prevent cholera – it would prevent a host of water-borne diseases and dramatically boost life (& life expectancy) in the poorest country in the western hemisphere.
