On the third day of Halloween my true love gave to me …

Once upon a time, circa 1980, Halloween was one blessed night. I know this because I was there with my sack of candy, collected in an hours long slog through town (sans grownups!!!).

So tell me, when did it become a three or more day/night festival? Please make it stop. Please. It is horrifying!
