I’m a big fan of Vanguard, John Bogle, and the community that appreciates their investing philosophy, now known as the Bogleheads (formerly the Vanguard Diehards). This is a very active community with a popular online forum and a developing wiki. Almost anything related to personal finance can be asked of and answered by the Bogleheads.
