Well written response.
While it is not your answer, I am still left wanting as to how rule figures into payment. It is “included” in wellness visit means what?
Does the ICD-9, “Advanced Directive Counseling” box get checked, and there is an additional payment with the wellness visit? Is it just a gratis service with the visit, same fee?
Obviously, it all has implications on whether the process would actually happen, despite the green light to do it? I suppose that would get ironed out once the rule is official and Secretary solidifies.
Still fuzzy though.
