Other charts therein show that the vast majority of drug overdoses are unintentional (not suicide) and most of the growth in drug overdose is with opiods. For those interested in this area, the whole thing is worth a look. Jones’s presentation was part of set on drug prescribing, coverage, and monitoring that includes those by others.
