I think that the indefensible apportionment of representation that Mr. Hufford points up cannot be dismissed lightly; it has and continues to act as a limiting restraint on what our legislature can consider. And, as everyone must admit, it is unjust and undemocratic. That said, we all know we won't see it changing in our lifetimes.

Healthcare....

My opinion is that we either do it, or we let healthcare and medicare costs devour our potential, as well as our entire budget, within a few decades. We must do it. For real, this time. There really isn't another option....

And, I humbly opine, HRH Elizabeth might not be really in a position to repatriate her wayward sons and daughters just now.

Thanks for the post.

@Dan Webber - Undeserved pejorative terms don't belong on this site. Thanks for pointing it out. I've edited it out.

I imagine the debate whether this term is or should be considered pejorative has occurred elsewhere. I'm only vaguely aware of it, which is why this one slipped through. I appreciate readers like you who catch these things.

A strange (but otherwise inoffensive) post now and then is good for the soul. I'm grateful to Jim for the contribution.

Wow. This is a strange post. Are you comfortable with the use of the term "tea baggers" on your site?
