If you like the articles on this blog, you can have new articles or announcements of them delivered to you automatically. Choose whatever works best for you:
RSS Feed. RSS feeds offer the best way to read any blog (but if you think otherwise, see the other methods below). If you don’t know how to use RSS feeds and readers to get articles from all your favorite blogs and web sites in one place, watch the video at the bottom of this page. For an online reader, try Google Reader. If you prefer a software reader, consider SharpReader on Windows or NetNewsWire on a Mac. This site has three RSS feeds: (1) blog posts, (2) comments to posts, and (3) News & Links items (the five or so things of interest the blog’s host and principal author, Austin Frakt, finds online each day–see them listed in the far right sidebar). You can subscribe to any or all of these as you like.
Twitter. If you use Twitter you can follow the blog there and receive tweet announcements of blog posts and News & Links items (described above) as they appear. Via Twitter you will get the headlines. They will include a link to the full article. Read whatever interests you.
Facebook. If you are on Facebook, you can receive notes from announcing blog posts and News & Links items (described in the RSS Feed section above). The only way to do so is to become Austin Frakt’s friend. Because Austin’s Facebook account is predominantly for increasing access to this blog he accepts all friends. You can also become a fan of this blog on Facebook by signing up to be a “follower”.
E-Mail. You can sign up for e-mail updates to any or all of (1) blog posts, (2) comments to posts, and (3) News & Links items (described in the RSS Feed section above). When you do content will be e-mailed to you automatically each morning between 7AM and 9AM U.S. Eastern time. You can unsubscribe at any time. Your e-mail address will not be shared with others, and you will not receive junk e-mails.
